R.J. Parish graduated from Robert E. Lee high school while working on his first feature length screenplay. He began study at Stephen F. Austin State University where he ultimately finished the screenplay and sold all rights to a production company in LA. The film entered production in the summer of 2008 but faltered under financial woes and executive problems, and was never finished. He credits this experience with propeling him forward in creating his own films. His passions and areas of study are physics, astronomy, creative writing, and cinematography.
