About Abel

I undertook a Bachelors in Film at Middlesex University, followed by a Masters in Screenwriting from Met Film School, desiring to master screen storytelling in greater depth. Previously, I was a Quarter Finalist for the 2014 Stage32 Happy Writers TV Contest, with my children’s action pilot, Very Strange Things: The Town Of Miracles.

I especially have a strong predilection for action and period work, informed by properties like Doctor Who, Pirates of the Caribbean and Doc Savage. I always look forward to challenges in projects concerning finding the human story, the heart, within more abstract scenarios and concepts. Sure, spaceships and dinosaurs are great, but where lies the underlying emotion? That’s where I come in.

Employed as Script Reader for Lime Pictures (Hollyoaks, Evermore).
