Vanessa D. Anthony has been involved in both television and independent film for over 8 years. She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta GA where she studied video production and multimedia. From 2001 to 2002 she interned at CNN, where gained hands-on experience from working with professionals on and off the set. She shadowed producers who trained her to be punctual, creative, and skillful in project development. Following this, she landed the position as a log coordinator with TNT (Turner Network Television) in their television programming division. At the same time, she worked as a production assistant on the set of Turner Classic Movies.In November 2003, Vanessa moved to Tokyo, Japan, where she produced her first indie short bilingual film which received media attention in Japan.In 2005, She founded Movie Mad Entertainment,LLC that specializes in creating thriller and suspense films. She produced her first short thriller, "Roommates" then Demo Preview of her feature film, "Death of a Drunk," which is in story development. Her projects have been selected and screened in the New York Independent Film Festival, The Mumbai India International Film Festival, The Urban Media Makers Film Festival and The Tokyo Arts/Design Festival.
