Tom Carson's piece on Pulp Fiction was interesting yet inconsequential. Hemingway? Really? Ok, maybe, but Q.T. is much more likely pulling from Kurosawa, Leoni and Kubrick. Carson missed one of the most important aspects of all Tarantino films; believeable, cool dialogue that keeps the viewer locked into the story no matter how it's layed out. Pulp Fiction may be the Icon, but Resevoir Dogs and Jackie Brown are the films I keep going back to time and again.
