  • Drawn Together

    Drawn Together (2015)
Film (short) by Systir Productions (Comedy, Romance and Animation) Writer/Director/Producer Adam and Jess work for the same company, in the same building, they even sit next to each other at weekly staff meetings… yet they have never met. Not really. But they have fallen in love. Or rather their doodles have… For Adam and Jess are doodlers and when they doodle, during the weekly meetings, their thoughts take on a life of their own and it seems like they will live happily ever after. But will the same be true for Adam and Jess? Based on an original idea by Amy Howell, 'Drawn Together' is a heart warming tale about finding that ‘someone’ in a disconnected world… no matter what it takes. This is a mixed media project involving live action and 2D animation, and will be heading for festivals in 2016.

  • 616

    616 (2014)
Film (short) by Systir Productions (Horror and Animation) Writer/Director/Producer '616' is a short horror film which takes place over the course of a few hours one summer evening as Tom and Anya get ready to go to a birthday party. The party is fancy dress, with a movie stars theme, and the couple have both made a fantastic effort. However, as events take an unexpected, and very bloody, turn, it seems the party will have to go on without them… '616' is grounded firmly in the gore-fest genre of horror, with a simple, yet entirely original concept which will both surprise and shock audiences. It is a mixed media production combining live action and animation, with the animation providing the special effects elements which are integral to the story. The '616' concept has now been developed into a fantasy/horror webseries.

  • The Syndicate

    The Syndicate (2012)
Internet by Systir Productions (Drama and Horror) Writer/Director/Producer When wannabe serial killer Rhys accidentally strays onto seasoned killer Nathan's territory it seems his quest for murder will be a short one... However, luckily for Rhys, Nathan is part of a family of killers and, until recently, had killed in partnership with his brother Jamie. But Jamie's recent death in a car accident has left Nathan finding it hard to adjust to working alone. So when he meets Rhys - young, inexperienced and eager to learn the business - he evokes the big brother in Nathan and, when Nathan agrees to take Rhys under his wing, it seems the family is once more complete. But will the rest of the family accept Rhys? And how will his arrival affect 'the syndicate'?

  • The Bloody Mary Show

    The Bloody Mary Show (2012)
Internet by Bloody Mary Show Productions (Comedy and Horror) Director The Bloody Mary Show is an ongoing webseries, the first season of which is presented in seven instalments. It tells of Bloody Mary (who is actually extremely nice) and how she spends her downtime with her friends Abdabs, Malevolent and Viscera. There are no vampires, werewolves or zombies in the show - Sorry. The show is littered with loving references to British horror and folklore. We adore the genre and are very loyal. We’ve taken an American concept (in this case the Bloody Mary legend) and anglicised it. How did the show come about? - It started with sleep paralysis. A terrifying condition where your body is rigid but your higher brain functions still work. The experience is often accompanied with horrific hallucinations. This happened to the writer, who decided to give a personality to the hallucination in order to (in)humanise it so if it happned again, it wouldn’t be so terrifying. It led to a short screenplay called Winifred whose job is to scare those with the condition before it becomes life threatening. The script was too ambitious for a short and over eighteen months it was rewritten and rewritten, Winfred evolving into Viscera along the way. Other characters were added and the focus was changed to Bloody Mary, a character unfamiliar to a lot of British people. We’d love the series to go global. If you’re interested, contact us!....
