I am David Bergsonchild and I am the curator of our network at Stage32 and one of five Managing Directors that manage our five offices and our eight affiliate offices worldwide. I am a British expatriate who, although joined Brïtsma™ in 2006, it feels like I was born with the birth of our firm in 1980!

Brïtsma™ was established in 1980 in Toronto, Canada with the primary purpose of designing commercial, retail, & hospitality facilities. I am most certain that, at one point and time, many of you used at least one or more of these facilities somewhere in N America & worldwide or you are familiar with.

How, you might ask, a commercial Architect and Designer got into this industry? In the late 80’s, while working on the design of a luxury retail project in the Hollywood area, and through our LA network, we were requested by a well-known movie director to present to him a design proposal for a street scene set design on one of his shoots, which was successfully executed and was the first of many to come for him and his network friends in the following years.

So, as since the late 80’s our creative & innovative design work & services were extended beyond our traditional target markets of retail, commercial & hospitality and into Sets Design, Radio Studios Design, Broadcasting Studios Design, Lighting Design & Lighting Effects, Sound Design & effects, Branding, among many others, we are here to extend further our network & exposure in the film & entertainment industry worldwide, like everyone else.
