Cynthia Small

I am a professional non-union voice actor, providing a sophisticated and knowledgeable voice for the stories you or your company want to tell. I have a professionally equipped home studio and I am equally comfortable self-directing from there, or going to any local studio to be directed.

Like many, my professional journey has been more circular than straight. I was a state champion debater and speech contest winner in high school which led to a radio internship followed by degrees in broadcasting/film and later elementary education. I have worked in both the corporate and educational worlds; providing high tech public relations with both agencies and in-house, as well as classroom teaching, literacy support and tutoring. In addition, I have been part of the local community theatre scene: acting, producing, working backstage and in publicity for over a decade.
