Throughout my professional career in video editing, my experiences are many. These experiences span across a variety of video and media genres. This would include project managing and hands-on editing several different global and national television series, documentaries and most recently docu-fiction in Canada and Italy. It is these experiences and more than two decades of direct employment within the film and video industry that fuel my continued passion and enthusiasm for film editing.

Experience acquired in this line of work has given me the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a multifaceted environment. I have had the opportunity of running several projects concurrently and fulfilled my responsibility of ensuring the goals, budget and deadlines were met for all past employers. These opportunities have allowed for the development of a sound foundation and knowledge of the entire life cycle of the video editing process. I am skilled and proficient with using a variety of editing software, including Avid Media Composer and Softimage Digital Studio. In addition, I am proficient in Microsoft and Apple platforms.

I am eager in pursuing employment with your company. Such and opportunity in the Canadian film and editing industry will allow me to extend and apply my diverse international film editing and media skills within this specialized market. I have recently been working as supervisor coordinator for a number of projects in Toronto including the English and French edition of “Tre Tocchi” directed by Marco Risi who has recently competed in Rome’s film festival.
