About Franz

My name is Franz Salvatierra, I am a developing artist passionate for cinematography and its application as a visual medium for expression. I've been studying and working in various films since 2009. My past and current positions as cinematographer include mixed media collaborations, narrative short and feature length films, music videos, and documentary.

My approach to cinematography is to focus on the relationships within the story and to collaborate with the director as much as possible. I am passionate about the projects I attach myself to so this collaboration is important to me as I hope to leave an imprint of my style on my work. In the future, I hope to work with such talented directors and on such interesting and varied projects as I have so far.
