Sue Wanjiru

Sue Wanjiru was born and bred in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a full time actress. A Berlinale Talents 2015 Alumni , Maisha Screen Writers Lab 2015 Alumni and talents Durban Campus 2014 Alumni.

She started acting and dancing in church plays as early as 10 years old. Her professional acting career began in 2010 after she left the corporate world .She joined Friends Ensemble theatre and got cast as lead in plays like, Continental Quilt and Where Is The Bride.

Her debut as a cinema actress was the lead role in the movie Something Necessary, Kenya, 2013. She has also done voice overs for Eidolon Films and Filamu Juani Film Productions in Kenya.

"Acting makes me irrationally happy, There is nothing like it, I hope to nail more diverse roles in future and tell more stories both locally and internationally."

when she is not acting, she loves training kids in acting and watching people bungee jump.
