About Heidi
A chick who grew up in Iowa, joined the Air Force right out of high school, had adventures in South America, Korea, Europe and several American states before leaving the military. Went to school, got a BA in journalism. Discovered my love for screenwriting. After teaching myself as much as I could about the craft through books, websites, reading scripts, etc., I completed the UCLA professional program in screenwriting in 2009. I've written several scripts since then, put a dent in the 10,000 hours and I continue to learn. This is a lifelong journey - one where I've met some incredible people along the way and a journey that has led me to some amazing stories, some of which are waiting in the wings for their turn to be told. My education continues at Hollins University in Roanoke, VA through their MFA program in screenwriting - summer 2015.
