Lady Abigor Presents... Stuart Conran

I was given the opportunity recently to film an interview for a producer in the UK - Gary Smart. Gary is putting together another amazing documentary film, this time his subject is Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II. The documentary is called Leviathan and you should check it out. This was the interview of special effects artist, Stuart Conran who worked on both of the Hellraiser films. I sent Gary the raw footage and raw audio files and I'm not sure how that will play out... but I took...

Road 2... Fan Expo (low bit rate/high compression)

This is a documentary film that traces some of the development for my comic book universe while interviewing artists that I have worked with on commissions for concept art. This movie gives some indication of what is involved in self-publishing a comic book while situating events at Toronto's Fan Expo 2014. This movie will be linked to a kickstarter campaign. revamping my neglected deviantart page (3 year hiatus 11/11-09/14)

The Bradbury Building: A Cinematic Fetish Location

This was a video documentary that I put together for my Cinematic Cities Masters course at UofT taught by Prof. Bart Testa. The video was inspired by Thomas Andersen's Los Angeles Plays Itself (2003). I examine how the Bradbury Building has been represented cinematically and how one might move forward with a definition for a cinematic 'fetish location'. The documentary was an accompaniment to a seminar presentation and I will later self-publish that essay on academia.edu. The thesis on 'mobile panopticism' is a prolegomenon at the moment.

Cynophobia (d. Typo Monq, 2014)

The story behind Cynophobia is that there is a serial killer who remains at large. The police can only find one connection between the murders which are made to look like suicides - all of the victims had "Beware of Dog" signs in their windows although none were dog owners. This is the origins of the "Dog Face Killer".
