Originally hailing from our nation's capital, I have been performing since before I can remember. My family is fond of the story where, at six years of age, without any warning or clear impetus, I stood up and recited from memory the text from a cassette-tape version of Snow White. I now spend my days working to regain the spontaneity and fearlessness that it appears I had as a child.
Upon graduating high school I enrolled in school at Marietta College in Ohio, earning my BFA in theatre and BA in political science. After many classes and four years I eventually learned that acting was now harder than it was in high school. So I promptly moved 50 minutes west to Athens, Ohio to get my MFA in Acting at Ohio University where I am learning that it is, in fact, even harder than it was in undergrad.
And so it will be in May of 2015 with three degrees, one of them terminal, I hope to find myself living and working in New York City, submitting for every single production of The Three Little Pigs in the New York Metropolitan Area.
