Jacinth Sutphin

Jacinth Sutphin is an actress, model, and writer who was born and raised in Jamaica. At the age of thirteen she relocated to Brooklyn, NY. Since childhood, Jacinth's dreams and career goals has always been to be a professional Actress/model. She is very passionate, driven and determined. She started her modeling career at 17 years old, appearing in numerous hair magazines and print ads. She has graced the runway for many local, national, and international fashion designers. While attending college at Kutztown University of PA, she began to study theatre by enrolling in a few theatre classes. Shortly after graduating, she began to participate in community theatre, such as TouchStone annual theatre festival, to gain experience. Since then she has booked numerous commercials such as Atlantic City Int'l Airport, John Yurconic insurances, Senior Solutions, and schuckville valley sports. She has been blessed to book leading and supporting roles in numerous featured and short films. Recently, her Principal role in the feature film Voiceless has qualified her for Sag-Aftra. She really enjoys improv and has worked with numerous improv troupes such as Flighty Ducks. She also enjoys writing dramatic & comedic scripts as well.

As a hobby she enjoys dancing, weight lifting, and mentoring adolescents. If I had to sum up her personality in just a few words, it would be kind hearted, outgoing, spontaneous, driven, very caring,ambitious, and a go-getter. She has such a positive energy that lights up any room.
