Kevin Shawn Wilson

Kevin Shawn Wilson emerged from amnio stasis in Winter Garden, FL, the...winter garden capital of the world. Being of Irish descent in the sunshine state, his SPF was TV, gads of Sci-Fi and Horror, Forbidden Planet to Alien, he immersed himself in the genre.

In high school English, after back-to-back semesters of Hamlet and Frankenstein, he assimilated with the multi-act structure and the enlightened villain and began penning Sci-Fi and Horror narratives.

Having also studied music, Kevin later hit the road for a time as a guitarist/keyboardist, gathering wisdom and life experience, before returning to normalcy. There, he melded his knowledge of digital media with his writing to land dot-com jobs like Media Creative Director, Media Director/Script Writer and B2B Media Director.

After working on the Internet for nearly a decade, screenplay competition websites sprang up, and he heard their sirens beckoning. So he set sail on his feature-length Sci-Fi/Thriller 'Scion'. But he smashed into the rocks of Runnerup, and put into dry dock to build anew. He found mentors with knowledge that sharpened his tools of arch plot and premise, and he vowed to forge only smart-genre scripts featuring flawed protagonists with a clear desire who become heroes through inner conflict and change.

Kevin is a Technical/Content Writer, and Screenwriter in the genres of Sci-Fi and Horror.
