Molly Vernon is a seasoned film and theatre professional in Houston, Texas. She is an award winning filmmaker working in production management as a Unit Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Line Producer and Assistant Director. Molly is also a noted writer and editor. She and cinematographer Larry McKee recently united to create the production company Vernon-McKee and co-produced both COLD WAR (2011 48HFP Best of Houston Winner and screened at Cannes) and PERSISTENCE OF VISION with filmmaker Wayne Slaten.
Molly recently wrapped principal photography on the feature films FLASHES, THE COSTUME SHOP, and OSPREY working as 1st Assistant Director. She is currently in development on several other films and working with a local television station on content development. Her screenplay TRASHMAN (aka Scherzo) is in 2nd draft revision and her new screenplay BABBA is in 1st draft.
