my name is Solomon I'm Ethiopian filmmaker writer and director I studied film production in Vancouver film school and worked with few directors in short film and music videos I'm more interested in spike lee movies more focused on African American history racial issues and religious and political value of black people and movies that deal with a history of the Atlantic slave trade something that can change peoples mind in the way they think of about racism I also wrote and directed a documentary called Hope. This documentary is based on comparing the differences between immigrant youth who migrated to Canada like myself, and what it is like to be a Canadian born youth. The main reason I wanted to do this documentary is because I am passionate about topics relating to hope, faith, religion, and cultural racism.
