Tara Rose Gladstone is an American actress from San Diego, California, best known for her role as Grace in the feature film “Hunger Diaries.” She spent the last eight years in Barcelona, Spain where she also worked on a number of indie films and in theater productions. Her studies include workshops with world-renowned British acting coach Mel Churcher, the Meisner technique with Frank Feys, and the Lecoq technique with Berty Tovías.
Tara also has a Bachelors degree in Dance, a Masters in Communication, and has written several books (as a ghostwriter) published by houses such as McGraw Hill and Penguin Putnam. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and also speaks Catalan.
Some of her happiest moments include: Jumping off motor boats and snorkeling in the Mediterranean sea in Cadaqués, Spain; hiking with her Mom at Torrey Pines State Park; a day of visiting Buddhist temples in Kyoto, Japan; choreographing modern dance pieces with friends in Boulder, Colorado; writing in her journal at the beach at Bogatell in Barcelona; singing Kate Bush songs (while cooking) in her apartment almost everyday; and a plethora of deeply connected conversations with friends and random strangers.
Bringing scripts to life with breath, images, emotion, and movement is Tara’s greatest passion. She likes to help tell inspiring stores that remind us of what it means to be human. She aims to dedicate her time to projects that inspire people to be more empathetic, and to fight for the life of their dreams (Tara dreams of saying all of this, while wearing a violet dress, to a room full of people that have inspired her during an Oscar speech one day).
