Beth Newbery

What did you do to gain work in the industry to begin with? Well I worked extremely hard at my three year intensive training with patron Peter Brook being a big force in the background! Then I got a job as an actress right away playing the part of Katherine in the Secret Rapture. During which time I met the wonderful Sidney Poitier, then worked from there in many theatre productions. Now I also direct and will be directing my first feature with a great known name- awaiting the news!
What is your company? infusionarts is my company where I work with various artists and hire actors to perform in theatre, film and take workshops.
What do you coach? I coach actors on how to 'be' and not act it out but to allow the natural process and faith be the lead.
