HTV Entertainment was founded in 2014 to bring joy, information, and edutainment into the lives of viewers through a wide range of streaming channels on the web and in our mobile app. We aim to provide a platform to small and medium-sized production companies and independent producers, and showcase their creativity for all the world to see.
Our founder, Kok Yin Wah, came to over-the-top (OTT) services after a successful career in the in-flight entertainment space. She brings a strong track record and industry experience into the exciting world of OTT media services.
HTVFun is a hybrid TV network of eight channels where you can watch, listen, and shop. Featuring free and premium music, movies, and TV content, our OTT delivery spans many genres. In 2020 we added content-related e-commerce to our offerings and expanded into the comics world, where we continue to add more properties.
HTV places other companies' advertisements for products of interest to our viewers on our channels across the platform in Malaysia and South East Asia. We also act in the capacity of a publisher and can bring advertisements to other platforms in the region beyond our network!
