David Chmielewski

David has been active in the Connecticut production community for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven and a lifelong resident of Connecticut. David now lives with his family in West Hartford.

He started his long career working with high profile companies such as Martha Stewart Living, IBM and Xerox to name a few. He joined WFSB in 2000 as a broadcast technician. He has lit projects for news, political events, sports shows as well as various live specials. He retired from Channel 3 as a news cameraman in December of 2013 to open DirectLine Media LLC.
