DIRECTOR’S FILMOGRAPHY
Gener B. Lanzo, director and scriptwriter, born on a hot
August afternoon in 1989. A life long denizen of Barcelona,
he studied to become a director and then focused on
becoming a scriptwriter by doing a Master's degree in
“Taller de Guionistas de Gràcia”, imparted by the film
producer Rodar y Rodar together with the University of
Barcelona.
He made his début as a director with an online proposal for
the online Christmas lottery, the objective of which was to
raise lottery ticket sales online in 2011. His project was
not chosen but this didn't stop him from following his
dreams, that is why a couple of months later his shot his
first short film, “Unhinged”, in which Gener himself played
all the parts. On the 20th of July of 2012 he finished “La
Dona de Fusta” (The wooden lady), a short film in Catalan
which he directed alongside Marc Bou, featuring Mónica
Portillo and Víctor Benjumea among others.
After these first projects, he worked as cameraman for a
couple of making ofs, such as the music video of a grup
from Tàrrega called “Terrasseta de Preixens” or Joel Joan's
film “Fènix 1123”.
Finally, after this slight absence of creativity in his
life, he began, together with 5 other scriptwriters, to
write the web series “El Club de los Cobardes”, a series
which has been in the making for the past three years but
will soon release its pilot episode.
While working on “El Club de los Cobardes” he also worked
as a producer and scriptwriter for the following short
films:“Una isla aparente” in 2013, a short film for amnesty
international denouncing gender violence and “La pasión se
lleva por dentro” (Passion is found withing), a short film
which won the third edition of the short film festival “BCN
EN CURT RODA EN 72 HORES”.
Following these short films he recorded a studio video for
Jizzyfree, a music group from Barcelona, with whom he
already has signed on to film their next musical video.
Last year he wrote and directed the news report covering
the Scottish Referendum as well as a video which covered
the result of the 9N in Barcelona, this being the date to
the question put to the Catalan people concerning their
independence from Spain.
In 2015 he has written and directed the short films
called “Amor de purpurina” (Glitter love) and “Una rana” (One frog) , both being
presented and competing in several fest.

Series Co-director & co-writer David - an Spanish playboy who's afraid of love. Guillem (William) - A Catalan Independence supporter who lives with his mother. And Jhony - a Chilean small-time thief. They discover that they are brothers at the same time as finding out that they have inherited an apartment in Barcelona. They must live in the apartment together for a year.
