What qualifies someone as a screenwriter?
I find more people call them self screenwriters without any qualifications. I am curious what would qualify some of these people as screenwriters. I didn't start calling myself a screenwriter until I won my first award and writing for a few professional groups in LA. What's your story?

Hey Lyse! Funny we never connect on here - I'm trying to get better at networking, reading the forums etc. Wendy, I'm back in PEI - we made it two hours before they closed the roads last weekend. I haven't had my car out all week!
wow- you must miss Spain ;-) I'm sort of same -but stuck in Moncton -tried to get to PEI for last three or four weekends but storms kept me here. Job ends Friday so will be back in PEI on weekend-maybe if the roads clear ;-) I can take a drive to Ctown and we can have lunch or something.

Sounds great! I'm usually around, VAC is right downtown. Just let me know when it's convenient - weather permitting, of course :-) We could call it a Charlottetown Stage32 meetup!
