Monica Surrena (writer/director/producer) graduated with an MFA from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in Film and Television Production, and received a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in Film, Literature and Ancient Language. She directed "King of the Road", a motorcycle action-adventure short film starring Miles O'Keeffe (Tarzan, 1981), where she lead a high profile crew that included DP Rick Drapkin (Director of Photography, Medium), Stuntman Monte Perlin (Rush Hour 3, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), and Stunt Coordinator Justin De Rosa (Hook, Sister Act), with the guidance of Producer John Watson (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves). Since graduation, Monica continues to write, produce, and direct. In addition, she runs a screenwriter's group out of Burbank and is currently developing a children's animated project.
