I am a performing artist who is passionate, not just about my craft individually, but also about sharing what I have learned with the next generation. This is why I pride myself on being an Educator of the Arts. I see teaching as an opportunity to give of myself to others.
The Performing Arts is a profession that focuses mainly on self: it's all about "ME", how "I" look, and how "I" can become better or how "I" can be famous, which is fine...but it doesn't always have to be that way.
My teaching philosophy is about sharing knowledge of the craft and passing it on to those coming after you, not after your career is "over," or after you've racked up some Emmys, Tonys, or Oscars, but RIGHT NOW...when you're humble enough to do it.
