Jenise Davis

Jenise Davis launched Jenise Davis Productions to bring her ideas to the screen, create opportunities for other actors, as well as to diversify her skill sets in the entertainment industry. Her motto has always been why wait for Hollywood to come knocking on your door when you can create something spectacular to take to Hollywood. And with the void of projects in the masses lacking diversity, she thought it was an opportune time to bridge the gap.

Armed with passion, drive, talent, a can do attitude, and a willingness to succeed, Ms. Davis put some of the writing and directing master classes that she took at various film festivals, writers conferences and other venues over the years to good use. Ms. Davis has received instruction from renowned writers and directors such as John Singleton, Spike Lee, Gregory Allen Howard, Marc Lapadula, and the late great Syd Field to name a few. In fact, channeling her energies into all realms of the creative process has given Jenise Davis Productions a competitive edge.

Ms. Davis is best described as an entrepreneur at heart, with a passion for the creative arts. In her quest for entrepreneurship and as a way to diversify her business portfolio, she founded a technology and marketing consulting firm in 2003 (Global Technologies & Strategic Marketing, Inc.) offering engineering, marketing and management solutions to the Department of Defense and the private sector.

Ms. Davis is a native Washingtonian, and received her Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing from the University of the District of Columbia. She went on to receive her Masters degree in International Management/Marketing from the University of Maryland University College. Ms. Davis resides in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and is a member of Women in Film and Video (WIFV), and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) the Washington D.C. chapters.
