Joshua is a 22-year-old producer, director and cinematographer. At the age of 18, he graduated from Chatham High School, where he directed his first film: “The Prodigy”.The Prodigy (2012) garnered numerous awards including the Best of Show Award at the Voices and Visions High School Art Show conducted by the Pittsburgh Technical Institute, and the Tri-state finalist award at 2012 Video Awards hosted by MSG Varsity in association with the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, amongst others.
In the same year, Joshua shadowed Stephen Higgins, a well-acclaimed documentary filmmaker. Higgins directed the following award-winning and documentary films: “The Matador” and “The Road to Carnegie Hall”.
Currently, Joshua resides in New York City and is a third year student at Hofstra University pursuing a Bachelor of Art Degree in Film Studies and Production.
Recently, Joshua has been working as a executive producer and producer on the film entitled Theater 9 which is directed by Matthew Borodinsky. Theater 9 is about the life of Jessica Ghawi Redfield, a victim of the 2012 Aurora Shooting in Colorado. For the production, Joshua managed a crew of 50 and 100 extras.
