Jim started working in theater in the 1970s; as a stagehand, an actor, a director, a designer, and a playwright.
In the mid-80s began working in film production, and making his own films. In the early 2000s he stopped working production to focus on his own projects, including raising a son.
He continues to write, and make films.
In 2019, He wrote, produced, and directed, a feature, “Jack and the Treehouse”. It’s currently in distribution.
Jim has been developing "Joe Hill", a narrative feature based on the life of the Wobbly songwriter.
