I love stories; I always have. Stories have a profound way to shape who we are by showing us the differences between each other. Stories are away for us to explore places and ideas in which we would otherwise be too limited to understand. From Greek philosophers through modern science to popular religion, everyone uses a story to help explain their world. There is a universal connection that takes place among us when we tell our stories, and I love the way cinema is uniquely suited to explore all of this.
