Karon Shelton

Karon is an alumna of classic and experimental theater, performing in plays by Bertolt Brecht, Christopher Fry,, Tennessee Williams and others. She toured with the Pearl Street Players children’s theater company. Roles include Shen Te/Shui in Good Woman of Szechuan, Rosabel in Venus Observed, and Sookie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Karon has recently portrayed a judge, mother, auntie, church lady, and granny. Most recent roles include a principal in a MattyB Raps kids video, mother on Real Murders of Atlanta and customer for a fast food restaurant commercial. Cast in a recurring role on Sunday, an upcoming television series. Held recurring roles on Fatal Attraction; and Snapped Killer Couples.

Her interests include Flamenco (studied with Rene’ Heredia, international Flamenco guitarist and dance instructor), home staging (certified), jewelry design, roulette and blackjack dealing (for entertainment), She also volunteered as a puppeteer, designing a fun theater space for preschoolers.. Karon holds a.BA in Technical Communications, and is a former journalist-photographer.
