Kalina Vanska

I'm Kalina Vanska and I love to inspire and entertain through thought-provocing stories.

With my innate Eastern-Eauropean edge, I'm at best playing police and espionage agents, no non-sense white collar professionals, perverse artists, high-maintenance neurotics and disturbed and extreme women. Hey, every story with a happy end has to have a villain:-)

I've worked with a couple of TV and Film Award-winning directors: on the Irish TV show "Proof" and the American short "Stick Figueroa". My favorite character by far is Henrick Ibsen's Hedda Gabler!

Alongside my acting education, I've trained as a singer and a dancer and performed on the stages of The El Portal Theatre and The Downey Light Civic Opera among other theatre venues.

By playing villains I develop an appreciation for them. Which is something I work on a daily basis - and for all people - through my Buddhist practice. I also love outdoor sports.

I am in pre-productions of my first horror feature and a very personal film "Sisters" and I can't wait to share it with you!
