About Liz

I consider myself a writer first, but possitions in art departments are a lot easier to come by. Along with my credits, I have also been a film reviewer for , a reader for the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and held internship positions with Cartoon Network and Atmosphere Entertainment.

I am most interested in writing feature screenplays, but I'm going to start learning more about television soon. I usually work in some capacity with my partner, Christopher Smith. I'm into dark comedy, well-written horror and all kinds of cult films. Picking my 10 desert island movies was quite a task and I'm still not quite sure, but I am proud of the years of my choices. If you've seen (and enjoyed) more than 3 movies on my list, I want to know you.

If you're looking for a short screenplay to produce, I can probably help you. The more restrictions you give me, the easier it will be. I'll upload samples of my work soon.

In my art crew work, I pride myself on working with a low budget. I can usually get props for free or pretty cheap, and am working on cheap ways of fabrication. I'd like to meet more art pros in Maricopa County. I believe my resume is strong enough that I should be paid for feature work, but I might be convinced to work for free IF I love your script or the project's design possibilities.

In October I will be starting online classes in the UCLA Extension Program, so that I can get a certificate in screenwriting from them. I'm pretty happy about that.
