Jeffrey E. Salzberg

The 2010 Tony Award. The 2011 Obie. The 2012 Pulitzer Prize for fiction. These are among the many awards that Lighting Designer Jeffrey E. Salzberg has never won. He has, however, designed the lighting for theatre, dance, and puppetry troupes in New York and also in the United States of America. The New York Times has called his lighting “ingeniously atmospheric.”

Jeff has also served as a design consultant for several theatres and has participated in the arts funding process as a grantwriter, a panelist, and a board member of a municipal funding agency. His online portfolio can be seen at
