I'm a writer, writing teacher and former story analyst to the stars. I've worked for ICM, WME, and many others. I now teach and consult with other writers while pursuing my dreams of publishing books and selling screenplays. I've written close to twenty scripts, many of those "for hire," and I'm often hired to co-write the true stories of others, including the ex-wife of a major league baseball player, the daughter of a Cold War spy, and the son of a mob boss. I am the author of Shaping True Story into Screenplay, a guidebook, The Rope Swing, a novel, and co-author of Bogie's Bike, the memoir of a legendary Hollywood publicist who survived not only the ravages of drug and booze addiction, but a sixty year career in the entertainment industry.
