After working for a newspaper in Pennsylvania for five years, Ashley now works as a public relations assistant for a small business in Denver, Colorado. She co-founded Guiding Type, a professional copywriting and copyediting business, combining a love for words and writing, and working from home in her pajamas. (Half kidding.)

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys trying to conquer ridiculously long books and writing short stories, creative nonfiction and poetry. She can often be found singing while washing dishes or taking a dance break — call it side effects of high school and summer stock theater.
