Jerry Seinfeld read this quote from an athlete and applied it to the importance of script writing everyday: “When you practice a sport a lot, you literally become a broadband: the nerve pathway in your brain contains a lot more information. As soon as you stop practicing, the pathway begins shrinking back down.”
I didn't want to say anything... or is that "nothing"?
Well it sounds the same. And I always say it after they state the 12th Tradition. But thank you. I will try to not make that same mistake again. HEAR!!! HEAR!!! Better??

But when I'm not, I'm working on my Northwest Filmmaker's Showcase TV show or I'm watching films or I'm reading about screenwriting or prepping to teach screenwriting or working on my latest story in development or... I'm sure you understand – I'm thoroughly enmeshed in the filmmaking universe, all day, every day. I think it's my personal need driven dedication and I'm pretty sure others are not quite so fanatical as I.

I've been doing interviews, reviewing independent films, acting as a judge on several platforms and festivals and enjoying every minute of it. The Film Fervor podcast has grown in the last few months and I'm wanting to remind everyone that if you want to get your talents out there and share your productions, skills or visions with a new audience, to come on by. I record Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM (Eastern Time). If you have a crowdfunding or pitch presentation that you need to raise awareness for, let's chat about it and get something started. Crowdfunding a film takes months of prep work and effort, once of which is promotion and social media cultivation. You can submit your projects here: http://ow.ly/PMQZ3 So what do you say? Let's get started!
Hello Fellow Filmmakers. My name is Eddie Singleton writer/producer from Atlanta, GA. Just completed my latest film, the indie cyber thriller 'blackhats' Prepping to start on the next one. Stay tune. Happy Filmmaking to everyone!
Hey Eddie, I'd love to schedule a chat with you on the podcast to promote your Blackhats project. Let's try to arrange something to get the word out about the film.
Justin Kincaid, yes lets do this! We will world premiere in Austin, TX. Friday August 14th I'm down! Thank you

The audience is growing daily and we've already had a great amount of success with promoting other people's films and web series'. This service is, and always will be, 100% free to filmmakers and I'm not "selling" anything. The goal of the podcast is to help spread the work of fellow filmmakers and to get them the notice they deserve. I joined Stage 32 specifically for the purpose of helping promote filmmakers on a constantly growing platform. So, let me know if you would like to chat about your project and I'd love to have you on the show to promote your work.
Awesome, thanks Charles!

We've put the whole thing together in about a month. We plan two months of shooting and one month of editing, then it's off to the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards, then to VOD, and so forth. It's all put together with volunteer cast and crew, who are doing it for screen credit and publicity. So, I gotta pump up the publicity to "pay" them! I filled out your "Be on the Show" form. Hope to talk to you soon.
Great

We've got a new short, A Different Kind of Movement, that we just put up on Vimeo. I've been doing mostly animation lately, so I was wondering good places to promote live action short films. Check it out and let me know! https://vimeo.com/124766050...

Hey Sandra, check out FilmFreeway rather than Without A Box. Also, contact me directly via email so we can discuss social media reach!
Thanks Justin, what's your email? use sandra.weston2@verivon.net for me.
I second Film Freeway. It's a great WAB alternative.
Honestly, I wonder how many people get any results from sending blanket emails saying "Produce my movie" and nothing more? Doing that instantly loses you all credibility you would ever have with me. I guess the moral of the story is that you should always think about what you send out in this massively connected digital world we live in.

I'd like to let everyone know that there is going to be a 100% free Webinar this Wednesday at http://bit.ly/1HgPRFt where I talk about screenwriting and we do a live writing session on Google Hangouts, explaining the ins and outs of modern screenwriting. We're going to be taking Q&A's, giving a live demonstration, and talking about the techniques that go into writing a script for someone else to direct, turning it from a screenplay to a production script and more. If you are interested, have questions or want to contribute your knowledge to the discussion, please come on by. It will be broadcast live to YouTube as well as archived for later viewing. All that being said, what are some of the things YOU would like to know or share about screenwriting?
Hi Bill, thanks for connecting. I'm making a lot of friends in the UK and it's great to link up!
Thanks for the networking, Jason!
Yes sir, anytime brother. Just now getting my feet a little wet in the entertainment world. I already feel I've been on stage all my life! Thanks, Jason Freeman

Expand postHey everyone! I'm Justin Kincaid and I'm about to launch a daily podcast (April 1st!) dedicated to promoting independent films and the people who make them. I am so very proud to be able to talk to creative people who inspire me to make my own films and to keep active in the film making community. So far, I've spoken to over 30 amazing filmmakers and that's only just the start! I was born in a very small town in West Virginia and grew up there. My passion for films came from a collection of over 3,000 DVD's and VHS movies that we collected because, frankly, there was nothing else to do in my teeny tiny little town other than watch movies and go to the theater. Stage 32 is a very exciting platform that I am pumped up to participate in. Let's network!
Hi Kathryn! Thanks for connecting.
Wow, that's quite the collection! And such an interesting podcast topic! Best of luck!
Thanks Dara. I figured it was the best way I could use iTunes to help promote other people's work. All about sharing the love with fellow filmmakers.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB
