Jonte' Koonce

I was born in Tallahassee, Florida and raised in Quincy, Florida my whole life. I've always been an observer, the quiet type which led me to lay all of my crazy imaginations on paper. In high school, I used to write stories (or what I would call movies at the time) in composition notebooks and have my classmates read them. I kept going when I saw how invested they were to a story I created out of nowhere. I graduated high school in 2011 and after my first year of community college, I bought my first camera which was a cheap Sony HD camcorder then soon transitioned to a Canon Rebel T3i. Throughout the years, I've written and shot my own short films, web skits, music videos and released them on my YouTube channel. Also, I've been making music with my friends, mainly Hip Hop and R&B and lately, have found a new love for alternative/cinematic sounds. I virtually attended F.I.R.S.T. Institute in Orlando, Florida in December 2021 and graduated with a diploma in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production. Since then, I've applied what I learned and written a TV pilot, short films and feature films and I want to use this platform to network with other filmmakers, directors, writers, musicians, agents, anyone who could possibly help me get my foot in the industry and create something magical and inspiring for the world to experience.
