About Leon

Los Angeles born native, Leon Pierce Jr. grew up in every part of the city, from South Central LA to West Hollywood. He always had a way with words and loved to write and perform. He spent over 10 years on the spoken word Poetry scene, performing as Leon P.

Eventually Leon decided that he wanted to tell stories visually and decided to attend the cinema program at Los Angeles City College. Leon completed the program in 2013 and received a certificate in Cinema and production.

Since 2013 Leon has been writing, producing, and directing content for his YouTube channel InsaneGeniusTV as well as producing content for many other individuals as well.

Leon recently won a screening contest at Los Angeles City College for best film for the semester with his short film entitled "Alcoholics" that he's currently working to make into a feature. He's also currently producing a slate of short films that can be made into feature films as well, as working to produce and direct his first feature film "Welcome Matt".

Leon is a very passionate, hardworking filmmaker with a whole lot of vision and ambition. He's motto is Let's Get It! And that's what he and his team is all about.
