Carline has had a passion for storytelling since she started writing stories at the age of 12. After studying Film at Howard University, she later received an (MBE) Masters of Business in Entertainment from Fullsail University.
While at Howard University, Carline studied under the mentorship of world-renowned Ethiopian filmmaker Haile Gerima, for two years.
In August 2008, Carline wrote, produced and directed her first feature film “Sin and Forgiveness”. A Haitian film about an illegal immigrant woman and the sacrifices she made to get her child medical care for a fatal disease. The film was theatrical screened in April 2010, at independent theaters in Boston and Miami, and Haiti. It went on to win the "Best Film" award at the Haitian Movie Award in New York.
She has written several scripts that are in development phases.
