CHAPTER ONE
Off-Broadway theater highlights: Circle Rep (production internship, Young Playwrights Festival), Ensemble Studio Theater (playwrights unit), Manhattan Punch Line (writer/performer Comedy Corps, Annual One Act Festival, in-house sketch comedy troupe, 3-year Artist-in-Residency).
CHAPTER TWO
Screenwriter, story editor, and concept developer in children's animation. 13 years of produced and unproduced projects.
CHAPTER THREE:
Recovery from Chapter Two-related existential crisis. Highlights: filmmaking classes at SVA (to empower myself as an independent storyteller), move to Houston, TX (don't ask), shooter/editor of documentary-style web video for small businesses, accidental ensemble performer with long-form improv troupe, guilty of making a few short "experimental" films, a couple of music videos, and two 48 Hour Film Project shorts.
CHAPTER FOUR
Flee Houston for a city closer to my natural habitat (Philly). Currently developing two screenplays for potential indie micro-budget DIY production. Dabbling with a web comic because it's cheaper than making films and I don't have to beg anyone to work for free but myself.
Unique traits: Compulsive storyteller, thinker, and fixer. Partial to allegorical stories (the lie that tells the truth) and tracking the fuzzy boundary between comedic and sad.
