I was just at a PGA panel with Erica Huggins, President of Imagine Entertainment. She, and the other panelists, reinforced what I have always believed. The best route to fulfill creative expression, as producer, writer, performer, etc. is independent entrepreneurism. Even for such an amazing company with top-talent getting a project financed it is hard in the existing "traditional" industry. And it will only get harder. The future models don't include them as they exist. Foster your creative excellence, and realize it is just the key to the door of the game...to really play you must think like an entrepreneur! Find or creative teams and will get easier...

We're building creative teams to support women influencers with media-based businesses using scripted and unscripted entertainment. The direct-to-consumer content with a comedic slant will speak to subjects that resonants women 35-54. Based in Santa Monica/Venice/Marina del Rey. Will need segment producers, writers, directors, camera-persons, crew and FCPX editors.
