Michael A. Mitchell

Mr. Michael A. Mitchell is currently the President / Owner of the privately owned media company, Roselight Media. He received an AAS degree from Kingsborough Community College in broadcast communications and earned a position as the director of the media ministry at Allen AME Church in Jamaica, NY. He then received a BA degree in recording engineering from The Center for The Media Arts and also completed an A+ certification course in computer building and maintenance at the same time. His interest in music composition and singing lead him to the path of media communications and technology. He then concurrently worked part-time at the World Famous Apollo Theatre as an audio engineer. His production skills were used in many television, cable and music recording projects. He has worked with most networks directly and indirectly creating content. Michael later received a request to teach a television and film course to high school students. He took the challenge and became a NYS certified high school teacher at the very high school that he attended, August Martin in Jamaica, NY for six years (2006-2011). He recently worked for the newly opened Resorts World Casino as an Audio / Video technician (9/2011- 4/2013) and helped create and maintain one of the largest technological media, graphical audio - visual facilities in the world to date. Mr. Mitchell recently graduated with a second BA degree in media studies at Queens College, NY (2013).
