Not just a simple music producer with limited experience, JahRae has more than 20 years of experience dating back to 1987, where she began her career as a Creative Director for Crucial Music Company, Inc. New Era’s “Lean on My Shoulder” (Atlantic Records), Atlantic Star’s “I Can’t Wait” (Warner Bros. Records), and Bas Noir’s “Superficial Love” (Atlantic Records) are just three of the projects JahRae co-produced during her tenure at Crucial Music Company Inc. She also Discovered ,groomed and assisted in the MCA deal with the group TWICE! and she did it Twice! Coming from Cleveland Ohio she was intertwined with all the greats from giving Choreographer Todd Sams a position to assist in making sure the artists had the latest and greatest dance moves. Zhane, the super-hot and soulful 90’s group, benefited from JahRae’s talent as a background singer and vocal arranger for the “Dirty Low down Shame” soundtrack for the movie, “Low Down Dirty Shame”, which went Gold. JahRae also co-wrote, arranged and sung on many other tracks during this time.

Realizing she was immensely talented, JahRae’ then founded her own production company known as Creative Gems out of Cleveland, Ohio. Under JahRae’s direction, Creative Gems contributed to the development of Tre, a female group associated with the highly successful HIP HOP group, Bone – Thugs N Harmony. JahRae also arranged and sang the intro to Bone – Thugs Greatest Hits album, and L’Burna’s album, Carol of the Bones. Creative Gems also consulted for F.A.M Entertainment, where JahRae contributed to the development of three acts.

As a skilled producer who has an ear for emerging cutting-edge music from most musical genres, JahRae was responsible for introducing R&B singer Rashaad to Kaper/RCA, where he eventually signed a album deal in 1995, and later she co-produced two songs for the artist. “You Can Bounce to Dis” (Kaper/RCA), was co-produced and written by JahRae. Creative Gems, successfully promoted “AI” by Allen Iverson to the Cleveland /DC/Las Vegas market. Additionally, she’s has worked with Warner/Chappell, Soundtracks, MCA Records, Vestry Records and other independent companies. JahRae is highly energetic and a charming individual who can surely light up a room. She likes to call herself- God’s Sun hence the name JahRae. I tell you when you meet her, you’re going to say, “WHATTA WOMAN”! Now,with movie credits and creating new Projects in Film she cant be stopped. JahRae was the Talent Coordinator and Content producer for the start up of THE Hollywood Elevator magazine in which she brought into existence #THEM.
