About Amanda

Amanda Pflieger is an independent film producer who has combined her skills with her passion for storytelling in order to produce strong material. Originally from Chicago, Amanda has worked on countless productions, everything from commercials to web series,with companies ranging from NBC Universal, Halfyard Productions, ABC
Entertainment Group, and The Onion.

She co-produced "Animals” with Mary Pat Bentel ("Goodbye World", "The Midnight Swim", "The Lie") and Chris Smith ("American Movie", "The Pool", "The Jeffrey Dhamer Files".) Written by David Dastmalchian ("Prisoners", "Ant-Man", "The Dark Knight") and directed by Collin Schiffli, the film, which is being distributed by Oscilloscope and to be released in select theaters and VOD on May 15th, world premiered at SXSW 2014 and was awarded the Special Grand Jury Prize.

Currently, Amanda is producing a wide variety of material. Most recently, she made The Hollywood Reporter's 2014 list of 'Top American Film Schools Alumni', and is currently in post production on her second feature, "The View From Tall", written by Caitlin Parrish (CBS’ Under The Dome), directed by both Parrish and Erica Weiss, and is repped at Paradigm.
