Hello, my name is William J. Young and I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. I have many goals and very high expectations in life and the one that I hold high and most dear is the belief that I can be a filmmaker. What I love about film is the power that it posses and the many lives that you can change with just a story. Because film is visual, it has the capacity to be instrumental and inspiring on diverse subjects and social topics that otherwise might not be appealing to the younger generation. With compassion, great sincerity, and dedication, I try my best to explore and touch on all genres. I want to be recognized as a great writer and filmmaker. With 14 scripts under my belt and one food show that I strongly feel is needed for the ‘minority’ public because of the alarming rates of obesity, diabetics, and heart disease, I believe that my versatilely, diversity, and creative spirit will be recognized and appreciated. With not trying to get biblical but the bible does state, without vision, people with be destroyed. Film provides me with the opportunity to convey my vision to the world. Thank you
