Well. I've been here a long time, but apparently I never introduced myself. How rude! So, hello there! I am an IFP Gotham Award-winning independent film producer currently in Europe to develop a project. I'm originally from Los Angeles, but lately I'm sort of all over the place with projects set in such varied locales as England in the 20s, Rome in the future, Los Angeles and one project that straddles numerous countries. I've hosted a Next Level Webinar for Stage32.com and have written several blogs as well - perhaps you've read my stuff? Hi everybody. My name is Markus Maro. I'm originally from Iceland but based in Miami. And soon moving to Atlanta. I'm a cinematographer and a writer/director. I'm Currently working on my first feature film, which is a character drama that takes place in 90's Hafnarfjordur, Iceland. I have a passion for lighting and cameras, but at the same time I have a deep longing to express myself through my own storytelling. I'm always interested in collaborating on interesting projects; and of course if anybody needs to crew up I would be a great fit in the lighting or camera department.
