Jason Baker is a Seattle native up who gave up his espresso machine and cushy body piercing job to pursue a career in film. His journey led him across the country to Pittsburgh, PA where he attended the Tom Savini Special Effects Make-Up Program.
Having conquered the world of foam latex and corn syrup blood, he soon moved on to the nuts and bolts of film production by studying at The FACTORY Digital Filmmaking Program. From there he began work on his directorial debut “SMOKE AND MIRRORS: The Story of Tom Savini”, all while producing two other feature films; Edgar Allan Poe’s Requiem for the Damned, which was recently purchased by Hannover House, and the still in production Captain Happy Sun.
Other projects that Jason has been involved include: WARRIOR, ONE SHOT, UNSTOPPABLE, and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
