About Tony

Hi, My name is Tony and I’m a filmmaker working in Los Angeles. I recently moved from Northern California to pursue a Career in Filmmaking. I currently am attending Columbia College Hollywood, and in 2019 I will earn a BFA in Directing for TV and Cinema. Living in LA and working on films has been a dream come true for me, but there’s still much more that I want to do. My goals are to make more of my own films and to start working regularly in production sound on indie film sets.

I have been focusing on internships and a new webseries I’m creating with some classmates (more to come on that soon). Besides finishing a fall office internship with NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, which I have enjoyed, I also interned with Future Shorts Media as a short film curator for their new platform. Through these two internships I’ve made new connections, and widened my understanding of film content. In fact, I also just started an Internship with Blue Sky films, a small production company in the Calabasas area, and I’m enjoying getting to be on feature film sets as a part of an internship.

During my time at CCH I have been on numerous student and non-student indie sets, giving me valuable experience in such fields as Production, Grip & Electric, and Production Sound. I have made a number of short films and upload them all onto my YouTube channel (Link: ).

Before moving to LA, I attended Saratoga High School, where I participated in the Media Arts Program (MAP). This program solidified my passion for film making while teaching me collaboration, teamwork, and leadership. During this time I was also active in my local Boy Scout troop. I completed Eagle Rank 2 years early as well as joining the Order of the Arrow, The honor society of the Boy Scouts.

I received three awards and one special recognition as a part of high school graduation:
- Scholarship
- Presidents Education Award
- SHS MAP Student Service Award
- Voted by the Senior Class as most likely to be Steven Spielberg
