About Begüm
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, 20th Aug 1986. Still lives in Istanbul, Turkey. A professional Musical Theatre Actress who completed her BFA degree at Viterbo University, WI; majored in Musical Theatre, minored in Dance. She also took various different classes and attended various workshops for Special Effects Make Up.
She worked at MTV Turkey for a year as a General Director's Assistant and she was the host for the TV Program called ''Teknoloji Günlüğü''. While working there, she was also the second-lead in a Turkish musical called ''Hekate'nin Şarkısı'' (Hekate's Song) which opened the traditional Theatre Festival sponsered by IKSV.
Today she works at Imaj Studios as an approved singer/voice artist for Disney, Universal, Warner Bros and Mattel's Turkish translated animations, motion pictures and cartoons. She also teaches voice at Gulsin Gumus Music & Dance Academy for Musical Theatre students.
As well as on stage, she works at backstage. As a free lance Backstage Coordinator, she works at Purple Concerts for previous and upcoming numerous concerts. The previous concerts she has worked at: Bon Jovi, Sonisphere 2010, Sonisphere 2011, White Snake, Iron Maiden, WWE... and many more.
