SYNOPSIS:

In the story , Peter the Journalist notes Dread , a street teenager distributing drugs on deadly streets of Kampala city, he decides to follow him and see who and where Dread’s contact is in this kind of business . But when Dread leads him into the street dowels, he realizes that the drug trafficking in city is a more organized crime than he expected, he can hardly leave with out making notice neither can he reveal him self to Dread. For Peter, Dread is big source of information but he is irrelevant as he seem to be hostile and non trust worthy. But when Peter realizes that Dread is attached to a dark relation ship , he decides to get use of this relation ship . this when Peter gets involved in a street sex business with Ruth, Dread’s girl friend and sex slaves at Q's club ,both Dread and Ruth 's work place along the street of Kampala city . Thing move as Peter needs , but Dread is on tight mark to Ruth, when Dread confronts Ruth and Peter ready handed right in middle of city square, the fate of an under cover Journalist begins there , Peter turns into a city saga as he struggles to keep Ruth in his custody, create a world of fear to her so as to induce information out of her. But Dread is wise enough, besides he can hardly lose her nor share his woman with any other man, he decided to involve uncle Q, their boss at Q's club But when Q orders his police network to arrest Peter and Ruth, he realizes that , Peter is an undercover journalist in his territory. so then , Will Q let Peter go with it ? and What will he do to Ruth when he gets his hands to her again ? For Ruth she is now devastated, she can neither go back to work, nor stay on her own along the deadly street of Kampala city . she decided to open up to peter , but does she know really what Peter’s identity is ? What will she do when she gets to know him ? Will Peter let Ruth be just a source of news or its now beyond meeting a street female teenager? That man in the woods, is fictional drama, set in modern day Kampala city, it features a combination of sex and drug trafficking in Kampala street community ,massive violence on streets , that involves car racing , setting cars on blaze , building demolition and gun firing . Its main relevance is to draw more attention to street community in fight against HIV/AIDS with in the Ugandan society to avail equal rights in distribution of public resources in relation to a human basic right to life.
